Jetting, K&N air filter and Micron

Just thought I would post my experience thus far. Jetting carbs with 182/185 and 4 slots down on the needles, #48 pilots. Put a K&N air filter in. It started and idled better then it has since I have owned it. This is with stock exhaust. I drove it about 2miles and had no hesitation or flat spots. It was 40 degrees out so I didn't drive it any further.

I just put a set of micron slip-ons on tonight. I would have test driven it but it is raining . I did start it up and it idled well. It started w/o being choke and idled cold (pretty happy with that).

Will give more feedback tomorrow.

Bike ran fine no stumbles or missing from 2k-9k rpm. I think it gained some low, mid and top. The things I didn't do were sync the carbs and adjust the idle. I will do that this week end and probably put it up for the winter. Here it the temps will drop after today into highs in the 40s.
