How do I upload decent pics

I just completed a adjustable footpeg, rear brake master cylinder linkage and heel heat shied mod, and I want to upload decent pics (size & resolution) with a new post. How do I do it?

upload into your user gallery and then insert them into a thread

You can also resize the pics using MS Picture Manager or similar. Just drop the JPG quality down to 65% to 70% and you can post 800 x 600 pics under the size limit.
