high mount set up??
 
Hi there....new to the forum...i have currently got low mount two bros cans...looking to switch to high mounts....what do i need?...where can i get the hardware?...i'm in ontario, canada. thanks .....

If you want to use the cans you have you'll need hi-mount midpipes and mounting hardware. As far as I know TwoBros doesn't sell just the mids and hardware. Ebay maybe? Every once in a while a member here sells a system. Maybe you could pick up the parts you need without the cans.

Contact Two Brothers and ask. Some companies do and some don't. I know I have ordered individual midpipes from Jardine...I know I have seen the Two Bros midpipes listed for sale separately in the past-it may have been on parts unlimited's website or one of the larger parts warehouses. Anyway all you'd need are the two midpipes and the two high mount hangers.

Another option is to contact a local muffler shop and see if they have the required tubing benders to fabricate a set of mids for you. They probably won't be chrome but a lot of guys on the forum are going to powder coat or flat black anyway.

I have a set of these sitting around. They still need finishing and painting/coating or chroming. You'll also need spacers and longer bolts (easy) for the passenger pegs like most all high mount systems require. $40+ shipping. They aren't perfect by any means but they look OK and will bolt on as is. I removed them to go back to low mounts to sell the bike as I didn't run pass. pegs. but figured the new owner will. :-)

Here's some pics of them mounted up. The PO used the subframe to mount pipes so I continued with that method; however, these midpipes are a direct copy of 2bros system which uses the standard rear peg mount but with extenders to move them outside of the pipes. You'll need spacers and longer bolts to do that.
