Galfer wave rotor's

Hi guy's looking at getting a rear galfer wave rotor, are these any good or just a bling factor.
Also can I use my existing pads which are ebc with around 500miles on them,or do I require a new set,(have been told by seller that I require new ones).
Any feedback would be appreciated

cheers erno

I put a Galfer rear rotor on my VTR this year. The stock rotor was near its wear limit. I got the Galfer rear rotor to match the grossly expensive Galfer fronts. I can't detect any difference between the way the stock rear rotor and the Galfer rear rotor feel and function.
There are different schools of thought on mixing old pads and new rotors and vice versa. The pads you've got are almost new and I wouldn't hesitate to use them with the new rotor.

I would re-use the pads too. Just clean them up with sandpaper on a flat surface before you bung them in.
