front sprocket change
 

Is there anything I have to do when changing the front sprocket because of the clutch? New gasket, or bleed it when I'm done? I've never had a hydro clutch before, just curious, any advice before I get it apart. Thanks, twins rule! :twisted:

Nope. Changed mine a couple weeks ago. You will just need to adjust the chain as you will have a little more slack than before. Just make sure to tighten it to the correct specs. Enjoy the much harder pulls :mrgreen:

this is something that I need to do as well.

There isn't really much to it. If you look around on the web, you should find plenty of sites with explanation on how to do this, may be not on a VTR, but the idea is basically the same.

remember your speedometer is going to be showing higher speed and your miles are gonna go up as a result. but you will be enjoying more torque which is almost always welcome!

where did you buy your sprocket from, and how much??

Thanks for the input. I've changed lots of them on my previous bikes, I just was'nt sure with the clutch being there. I already have a 43t in the rear, which is great, now well see about some slower stuff?
