F4i caliper bleeding trick and clearance question

Just finished my cbr600f4i caliper/mc upgrade and man does that lever feel firm. I havent got a chance to ride it yet cause im still waitin on my Vesrah's to come in. I just installed them with the pads they came wit just to fit and bleed them. I heard alot of people complain of bleeding issues due to the banjo bolt being higher than the hole in the resivor. You don't have to have the mc in it's permanent position to bleed it. If you see in the pic I mounted the mc on the bar like you normally would. tightened up the screws then removed the screws. Just give the mc a tap and it breaks free from the bar. Be careful not to disturb the clamp and it stays in place. If it doesn't I guess some wire ties would hold it there. Now put one screw in the top hole of the clamp and thread it into the bottom hole of the mc. Now the mc sits level and although it's not to easy to weasel the bottle of fluid (I used rbf600) under the windscreen it's definetly doable. After you suck a couple of resivoirs worth of fluid through the lines wit ur vacumm pump, the lever is tight. Now my question. When grinding the calipers and fork mounting tab to make everything fit, like most others, I installed and removed the caliper like 20 times to check fit. Once I just barely got it to the point that both bolts can be installed easily with my fingers I called it quits, but should I have gone a little bit farther just for some extra clearance between the caliper and tab. I didn't want to remove more material than is nessecary, but for some reason I think there should be a little more of a gap between the two, like for heat expansion or somethin. I don't kno why I think that but it just seems right or Im just paranoid that I might screw somethin else up.
