Eastern Beaver headlight relays
 

Was testing this tonite also, seems like twice the lighting. A little adjustment and I'm there.
All told it ran me right near 75$ to my door. I'm glad I just paid the man on this one and not tried to rig my own, it is a class piece of work.

I have the PIAA bulb in what looks to be 65/55. Is there any advantage with this bulb or just the cool color? :hijack:

On their site it's called a "h4 single headlight relay kit, fairing mount option", I went with the "heavy duty dis-connector option" +5$.

I wish I had ordered the ceramic socket for some reason. Seemed like a good idea but I jewed out.

It makes such a huge difference doesnt it? I did mine the same way, but I decided to just buy the micro relays and build it myself vs. buying a complete kit, because I have all the loom and such at work, and i get bored at work so I needed something to kill some time. The kits are a quality piece, and if you dont feel like building it or dont have the electrical skills, they are the way to go.

I wouldnt worry about the ceramic socket, I cant see it being that big of an issue, as long as the connectors fit nice and tight on the headlight terminals.

Folks this works on almost any vehicle.. 1978 Ford Bronco to 2005 Mustang.

And have been putting them in every vehicle since, car, bike, truck... Simple test, take your VOM and see what you have for voltage at the head light plug. If it is less then voltage at the Alt / batter charge wire.. you can benefit from a relay system,, home made or bought.

Also check Ohms reading for your ground at the headlight plug.. Many older vehicles (10 years give or take) will benefit from a clean up of the current ground circuit and connections or just a new ground wire.
