Dyno Jet needle #
 

I just put new two bros. cans on the bird with a k&n filter and it def needs to be jetted. Does any one know what number needle to use in the stage 1 dyno kit? I've never done this but I can follow directions like a pro.

I have Devil high mounts on my hawk. When I got into the carbs this winter found out that I had a stage one jet kit installed by previous owner. I got alot of great information from members here on the forum. Many recommend that you not use K&N air filter. Stock seems to be better. I have my needles adjusted to the sixth spot. It is alot better than what it had been before. If you follow instructions well there is a thread on this forum called "carb set up" using stock needles, air filter, main jets and I think a different pilots. I would try this set up before doing stage one jet kit. But, if you need help with stage one I have 180 mains and 45 pilot in the front cyclinder and 185 main and 45 pilot in the rear. I also have the needles shimmed all the way to the sixth spot. Hope this helps.

I was lucky and bought the hawk with the Devil's already on. Love the sound.
