Clipon Racing bars question
Do you run low rise clip on bars (for track days) on top of the triple clamp or below the triple clamp?
Is there even room for fairing clearance to run them under the top triple clamp? TIA |
No. If you put them under they hit the fairing unless they're heli bars. I have heli bars under for my usd forks and they just barely clear it.

+1 with superhawk22...
Anything mounted under the top clamp will hit the fairing. I have Gilles clip-ons mounted under the clamp with a +35mm rise allowing "just" enough clearance. |
Re: Clipon Racing bars question
Gilles makes 41mm clip ons?
I don't supposed they have a hinged clamp do they? Ideally I would put the clip ons on for track days & keep the VFR bars for the work commute & touring :) |
CNI DAWG, just a thought can you mount your vfr bars under or does something get in the way of doing that?
