carbu tuning

hi guys i bought a vtr99 stock except kn air filter with dyno jet. the bike was running very well with 190 main jet......(seem to much but as a said was running great) i just install a exhaust and mod the intake. Now the low end still good but mid range with half trottle is bugging and with full trottle it pull fine but not as much as before. I did a plug test and they are white..lean... What jet are you should i buy since i have the choose of 192-195-198-200.. should i got direct with 200 or should i buy all these...i know its all try and mistake...

thks any advise are welcome

Hey gab do a search man. Seems like many prefer oem filter

I strongly suggest you read the Carb Setup Thread by Hawk8541, it's a stcky so not hard to find. You are going in the wrong direction entirely! There is no way that you are lean unless you have engine mods you haven't mentioned.

Also the dyno jet main jets are numbered/sized differently from OEM. A 190 dynojet is not the same as an OEM 190, be sure you know what you have before buying anything!

Ditto.

Check out my response #299 to that thread. Probably best not to jet using settings from a forum thread - FYI.
