To be honest my main concern is the shipping from China. Not the cost, just ever getting the stuff. But then again, I work for the Post Office. Might be influenced by my own experience.

Nice looking welds, reasonable price too for brand new cans and links.

I find it odd that there are no bends in any of the mid-pipes. All "bends" are made with pie slices of straight tube welded together to create the angles.

I would also like to see the inside surface of the welds to see if backgassing was used to prevent "sugaring" of the inner weld root.

Backgassing is a process that floods the back surface of a weld seam with an inert gas (usually Argon). There are also some paste fluxes available for use when backgassing is not possible.

Sugaring is a term referring to carbon precipitation in the weld area which results from the root of a stainless steel weld being exposed to atmosphere. A sugared weld will be highly prone to cracking.

i dunno... they might be ok but might not be. get the bike on a dyno and check the a/f mix.
i'd prob be more tempted to try the delkovic, which are prob also made in china.

those look like some nice ass welds and they say its all done by hand!! damn!

i have a few friends on i-4 that run these china exhausts with no problems.

Why not get other model titanium slip-ons and just buy the pipe connectors for the hawk?
