Arrow exhaust any good?

I bought the bike with these on it. Previous owner seems to think they're the shiznit. But then what seller wouldn't say that?

I can't seem to find anyone with them on here. Are they worth any HP over stock? They sound nice at least, like a midget bass drummer is stored under my seat.

Also he said it was a full system but all I found online are slip-ons. What gives? Or does it really matter?

I had them on my Ducati 916 a few years back and loved them.

Doubt they're a full system. I can't find too many after-market headers for the Superhawk these days. But those arrows are supposed to sound awesome on v-twins.

+1 here. Nice Superhawk and lucky those pipes came w/it, easy FleaBay for $300-$450 USED. Ride safe and take care.

No they're real shit...the worst...wanna sell 'em for cheap ;)

J/K arrow makes a really nice product. Like any slip ons it's mostly for sound and looks and a little weight drop. Jetted properly with slip ons a small gain but again nothing huge. Aftermarket header only matters with internal engine mods...besides the all important bling factor of course...

How many F@#! sets of exhuast do you need!?!?! j/k

BTW - did you get the pipes yet?

captainchaos 07-17-2008 04:21 AM

I told you I'm an exhaust junkie lol...not yet but since you asked I'll probably get them today.

Arrows are fine exhausts, good quality (not the best).
I noticed you have some nice EBC race iron rotors, just keep an eye on the knobs, check them frequently for loose seals. (Unless the bike on the picture is not yours :D)

nice lookin' bike! i like the lower fairing, do you know who made it???
ride safe.

Nice looking bike. I know how you feel with oddball exhuast. I have Carbon Fiber Muzzy cans on my SuperHawk from the Previous Owner. Who the hell puts Muzzy on a Honda? Oh well, they sound nice and it saved me the money oppossed to doing it myself.

A former co-worker had an Arrow full system on his SH. Not as much bottom end grunt as my slip-on Yoshi's though. His was louder and had better roll-on than mine.

my bud has polished alum. muzzys and i like the sound, my bike came with D&D slip ons and they get me in trouble, i savin for lower fairing and some kind of high mount exhaust, i want it as clean as possible, i ll have an actual pic on here soon, i work at one of the largest honda yamaha dealerships in the nation, i work in parts and we move over 200,000.00 a month, i get great prices on parts, none of our suppliers carry a lower fairing though

CentralCoaster 07-21-2008 10:38 AM

I rode with a TL1000 yesterday with Yoshi's, damn that put mine to shame, but I wouldn't want that noise every time I ride down my street.

But the Arrows do set off some car alarms. I like to go reallll slow through the parking garages and make it count.

It's been rejetted, so probably a bit richer than stock also. Makes a nice snap crackle pop from the pipes that I'm used to in my car.

I have no idea where the lower fairing came from, but it looks so much better with it IMO vs that chinsy skid plate looking thing that Honda threw on there.
