? about devil exhaust

just installed my devil high pipes. they sound very deep and have a nice tone to them. my question is can you take the inner baffles out? looks like one rivet holding it in. not sure if anyone else out there tried this. thanks

Don't know but you might want to wait for them to break in before you break out the drill.

Euro-spec pipes that are certified road legal have a "tamper proof" baffle to get passed the noise regs. That sounds (pun intended) like what you have.

Yes, the baffle comes right out after you drill out the rivet. Gets a whole lot noisier too!

You'll also find that there's a bunch of crackle and pop on the overrun, Some like this, some don't.

I found that the sound wasn't as deep as say, the Two Brothers pipes, but they've held up amazingly well for 3 years. The carbon pipes still look brand new.

I've heard of the baffle but I think the previous owner of my bike removed mine because I don't see anything inside mine baffle-wise.

It's loud enough as it is LOL

Mine haven't done that since I removed the PAIR. Now they are smooth and deep. Just one rivet, I figured if it was to loud I'd just replace it with a small bolt.

here is pic of what im talking about. so just the one rivet and they come out? sweet

Yeah mine are definitely removed after seeing that pic now LOL.

My Leo Vince EVO II's came with these also. They have a one-way-head screw that makes it very difficult to remove to meet the Euro regulations. My old staintunes from Australia came with a standard head screw for the removable baffles. Good idea to locktite those. Don't ask me how I know!
