954 front end with stock wheel?

I tried to search but couldn't find what you would have to do to use a stock wheel and rotors with a 954 front end.

ok, so a little more research says that you would need to find some 330mm rotors that bolt up. Do those exist?

No, there are no bolt up 330mm rotors, you would also need to swap the bearings, grind some clearance in the middle of the wheel and make some custom spacers. (to fit the larger diameter axle)

Yeah, don't try it. Rotor bolt circle diameter, offset and everything else are different.

well that's settled.

The closest looking easiest fit is a CBR1000RR front wheel. It looks more like the VTR rear wheel than the 954 wheel, and it bolts right on to the 954 forks and rotors. (that's why I used it)

Not sure if this will help, but I'm running 2001 GSX-R750 forks on my bike with the stock VTR wheel. These forks are Showa units and almost exactly the same as the CBR929 and 954 forks. The rotor diameter for them is Ø320mm, but luckily I was able to find something that works. The CBR11000XX uses rotors that fit the VTR wheel and are Ø310mm. Even though they don't match perfectly, after two years, including two full days on the track, they are fine.

It was a bit of a problem getting the wheel to fit but I'm really happy with it.
