2005 CBR 1000RR swing arm swap...Anyone done it?

A friend of mine wants to sell his 2005 CBR 1000RR swing arm to me. I've done a search, but only found info on RC51, 900RR and other swingarms other than the 1000RR. I did find a post from someone that stated that the 1000RR can fit, but I can't find that post anymore.

My question is, has anyone done it, and how do you do it? Is there any cutting and wielding? Any help is appreciated.

I doubt it will be a bolt on procedure.. But how much modification will be needed I do not know. You might get to be the first to make a write up on this mod!

The only real problem is that the CBR uses a ProLink setup for the suspension... So getting the suspension geometrics right will be more guesswork than with the RC51...

And the pivot bolt is less bolt on friendly as well... But I'm waiting for the step by step intruction...;)

What did I do now?

Wait, does this mean I'm not getting any step by step instructions? Dammit...
