2-bro carbon fiber c2 full system rocks!

Here is a clip of my hawk - directions:
1.) turn volume to full blast
2.) put ear next to speaker and imagine the volume in-person about twice that!
:evillaugh:

Nice! That sound is one of the reasons I bought my first superhawk back in '99!

Did you just install the pipes? Sounds great. Didn't get a good look at them though.

c-dub 12-14-2009 12:56 PM

no, purchased new in 1998... pipes and jetted after the first service.
just getting better with my video camera and movie software... just put 'er back together after doing cct and jetting tweaks, now she's rich though.. need to go back and lean it out a touch. i will post some more stuff when i can get more riding in... its frickin cold now. I'll take some picks and post them too... just getting my technical skills pulled together to add some content to the forum...

Sounds great! I'll have to wait about 4 more months to hear my baby again :(
I have a question about the whine on deceleration. I assume that to be the cam chain. On some bikes it is much louder than others. On your bike it was quite noticeable. Could that be the CCT being a tad tight? You mentioned they were just installed.
On the other hand, perhaps I don't hear it so much on my bike as the OEM cct are still in place and maybe they are a bit loose.

c-dub 12-14-2009 01:12 PM

maybe, finger tight... the speaker on my camera was picking up the engine noise more than the exhaust note. i will need to take another with my buddy blipping the throttle to get a better effect. although, it may "whine" a bit more now that you mention... i will be going in again anyway for tweaking mains and double checking cct, getting some backfiring off throttle where i used to get more of a nice gurgle. thanks for the heads up.

sounds nice... I have WileyCO's on mine and had to wear ear muffs the other day in the garage with them...I love loud pipes on these bikes!!!!!

c-dub 12-14-2009 02:18 PM

Me too! it sounds sick!!!

skoshere 12-14-2009 02:58 PM

i will get another video soon, and post up, just by the oval cans. sweet!

c-dub 12-14-2009 03:12 PM

Aww, you got my hopes up. I was about to ask where you got the full 2 bros exhaust from. I am wanting to get the slip ons from them seeing how I can't find the full exhaust anywhere. Sounds good though. Hoping to have my slip ons mounted and ready to go next spring.

c-dub 12-14-2009 03:37 PM

I will take some pics and post up, the headers are sweet, and the carbon fiber ovals are my favorite... will try tonight...

Personally, I think that a Superhawk with good aftermarket exhaust is one of the best sounding motorcycles ever!

Even stock cans with bafflectomy sound sweet. I've had stock, staintunes and now 2Bros C/F. All rock in there own way...throaty, burbly loud. I sound like a wine critic!

you will be happy - I have done aftermarket upgrades to cars, trucks, and mc's... this was def the best upgrade I have done. I will get another video and post up after the weekend - closer to the pipes. Ovals. Cool.

If you just want something loud throw some D@Ds on there. :evillaugh:
As far as loud highmounts I have a remus Genesis system that makes a pretty sweet noise. The few times I've ridden without earplugs I've regretted it. :)
