Zero cost Superhawk street fighter
I was really hesitant in taking my fairing off due to headlight issues and wondering if it would odd. Searched how to remove superhawk fairing , removed it and removed the headlight from the original fairing. Used zip ties that were laying around. I originally planned to only keep it while I'm painting my fairing but I might keep it for longer. Love the new look

Yup, that's a superhawk with no farings.

Xeris ,
I'm pretty excited about owning my superhawk and pretty proud of its new look. I swear I was wondering what it looked like in person and couldn't just imagine it from all the pictures online. I didn't see many examples online so I felt like sharing my little project. Carpe diem! |
Are you going to put the mirrors back?
|
CrankenFine,
While I'm in this "no fairing-defiantly not a street fighter phase" I'm kinda just riding it how it is with no mirrors (which actually is really tough and pretty unpractical) but I have tried to look for small carbon fiber bar end mirrors. They just have either been a) really expensive b) can't seem to find the right ones here's a pic with old stock mirrors |
Just get the cheap Chinese round bar end mirrors for like $20. Those'll do just fine.

I have bar end mirrors and a cut wind screen on mine no fairing. I love mine

Love the look mate. I think we've got matching bar-end mirrors, picked mine up from amazon. Have you found a solution to front turn signals? I'm looking into tiny led turn signals ( I feel a must have)

I really love how the black frame looks on the Triumph Speed Triple http://www.motorradwallpaper.de/enzy...riple-2008.jpg It could be my next little project for this winter. Anybody on here attempted in powdercoating the superhawk frame? |

yea, I have little stick on LED's u cant see them much during daytime. At night they are very visible, I was more worried about night time driving. No, one pays attention during the day anyway.
ill post a picture with the turn signal on next time I get a chance |
It looks better with the fairing

WOW IM DOING IT WRONG |
Maybe I should rename thread "in process of creating a street fighter" piece by piece I will make it an awesome fighter. As of now, it runs awesome and love searching for possible new parts to swap out. Def not "street fighter" worthy guys but I like the sound of it. I really want to swap out front and rear tire whatchamacallems to carbon ones I saw on an r6. I think that would look really cool.
