Two wire front turn signals

So I made it two weeks before the modding started. My question is concerning the front turn signals. I know they are three wire and that the third wire is for the running light. My searches didn't really provide a definitive answer, can I run two wire lights on the front turn signals and just not hook up the third wire? I'm not going led so I don't have to worry about the flash rate, just a noob who's not to good with wiring. Thanks for humoring my third grade question.

Yes you can run them without the third wire for the running lights.

As stated above, but depending on the bulb you're flash rate MAY change. Stock bulbs are 23W. Any bulb significantly less than that will make your flash rate faster.

Thanks for the heads up on the wattage, wasn't aware of that. I would guess that's why the reason the leds blink faster, also. Finished my homemade undertail yesterday, so today is back to the wiring. Thanks for the tips guys,

You can get 3 wire aftermarket units thus keeping your running light capability and legal flash rate. Being seen is a good thing.
