Bar Risers
So I just recently purchased a vtr 1000 and the older gentleman who owned it had put bar risers on it I was wondering if it was more comfortable with them lower or should I just leave them on there, these are photos from the day I bought the bike, the guy had dropped it apparently on the right side and was in the process of moving and I came al5at the right time few scratches on the fairing but i since ordered new ones and new grips (cause he didn't glue them on and used tie wraps) and new bar ends also a fender eliminator kit from werks and I got a tire hugger comming in fron Europe tomorrow

I'd feel that's kind of subjective. Maybe ride it as is and then try it with the bars at stock height and see which you like better. I had a 1st gen FZ1 and it already had the lower GYTR bar on it and with the amount of power the bike had I actually would wish for even lower bars out on the highway. But again, that's just my opinion. I'm not 20 anymore and I'm sure there are times the higher bars would be appreciated. Love your black/red decal '99 by the way. I have the same bike.
Curious when you say you ordered new fairings did you find new OEM replacements or something else?
