shorty two bros exhaust

I just cut down my cans. Waiting on silicon to set ATM. But it was super easy. Just a quickie DIY blog. Take cans off... measure where you want it from the edge of cans not the end cap (there's a lip) i used a Sharpie and marked every 7'' around can. The traced. I went from front to back so i could keep emblem. Drill out rivets. Pull out innards then saw can along lines. Measure then cut metal baffle (its perforated) i used a sawzall because thin sheet metal is a pain. A bread knife cuts the packing then put it together (be careful to align the steel baffle) i bent mine then had to really bend it back. I used a drill to drill holes in can and used stainless Allen screws and slowly worked them back and forth till it tapped through. Snugged them up. Don't over tighten BTW. Then reassembled using high temp copper silicone. Took 3 hrs both cans and that's pulling it apart from y pipe and resealing.

Just cut mine down 4.5 inches last night, gonna take the rest tonight. Thought i'd give it a whirl to see if i'd like it. I love the look and sound. Now to figure out how to keep the cans from wobbling so bad. I might use a bunch of copper rtv where cans slip into mid pipe. Any suggestions?
