now you have two "little" brothers in your family. Looks like you did a nice job, just have to be careful not to start any brush fires, and the light show should be interesting at night. I'll bet you got a nice little bark there now. i just have one baffle removed OEM and mine are plently loud. But that V-Twin loud is sweet, huh. How did it affect performance? Looks good.

oh man do i love the sound of it now, it turned heads before, but now everyones looking, as far as performance i think the throttle is a bit snappier now but it hasn't been ridden all winter so it could just be me

It's great to have a great sounding bike. Adds a whole new dimension to the experience and makes you love it all the more. Let us know about the performance later. Hell, you're liable to have a shitload of pipes on your doorstep next winter when you start your new pipe shortening business. hahaha

LOL... Reminds me of that SouthPark Harley episode.

Personally I am not a fan of short pipes, but you did do a very nice/clean job.... and whatever makes you happy with your bike is what's important in the end.

I took about six inches of my Jardines a year or two ago. I only noticed a slight increase in sound level. They were pretty loud to begin with. The tone changed a little as well. From a deep rumble to more of a crisp note.

I might. I went to a single pipe last year. Different sound. The nice part is, i can still go back to the standard dual set up. Once I cut it, if I want to go back, now it's time to buy another exhaust. That's my cause for hesitation.
