Smile ordering from magicalracing

Hey all,

I was thinking about purchasing a seat and lower cowl for my '99 firestorm from this website but i'm first doing some research about them. Has anyone purchased anything from www.magicalracing.co.jp? to Canada?

Cheers,

Eddie

I don't have first hand knowledge, but I know someone on the forum mentioned getting things from them satisfactory results. Good luck...nice stuff on that site.

Well, the english site is a little vague on their product descriptions though. I don't know if im blind at all but I didn't see any contact info for me to ask about their product.

Check out the "FAQs about shopping"...orange tab on the upper right. Says you can only order what's on the English site from the English site....also says shipping on bodywork is cost prohibitive for most customers.

But there's no place to ask a question. For instance, does the seat cowl come with a tail light? stuff like that.

I ordered mirror inserts last year. The product was fine, but communication zip. I received no confirmation of my order and there was no "contact us" button on their website. I monitored my Visa account to see when and if to expect the product.

It's a big risk that's for sure. I really like that seat cowl though, how it points up @ the back. I believe the lower fairing is a moriwaki one, I should be able to get that somewhere else. I can't see why the seat cowl wouldn't come with all the necessary hardware such as the tail light. Or maybe you can use the stock one, not sure.

I think with the seat cowl you would use the hardware off the stock installation to install the new plastic. I DO NOT think the tail light assembly would come with it. Again, I think you use the stock light or you buy aftermarket that will replace the stock setup. With the lower - because there never was one there - every manufacturer probably has his own version of brackets and fasteners that bolt up to the stock bike. I expect that they would be provided. If it's any consolation, I just bought a tank bra from Mag-Knight - real cool deal - but paid in advance, no confirmation, little contact info on web site, no shipping notice, about ten days later it just showed up. Neat product, nicely packaged - dunno what to think about the way some people do business.

Yes I got one BRAND NEW for sale (solo seat cowl) asking for $400 US plus shipping. I didn't come w/tail light or undertail cover at all, but it is worth for every dollars that you spend. My seat cowl get painted at the body shop right now, I should get it after new year.

Not exactly sure but on the website it states that the seat cowl to be about $40 US so I can't imagine it to be more than that. We shall see I guess, lol.

Well, there is a english part to the website but the upper fairing can't be purchased. Go here --> http://www.magicalracing.co.jp/ and there should be a "english enter" button. I still haven't heard back from those guyz so i think i'm going to give up hope. I haven't seen anything on my VISA either, .

HEY PPL, I just want to let everyone know that I have received my belly pan from MRacing. I actually gave up hope that they wouldn't send it but sure enough, 3 weeks is all it took. Amazing hey?, all the way from Japan to here (northern ALberta).
It came with a few bolts, etc but the instructions are in Japanese so.....i'll have to try and figure it out. ahaha

Actually, yes, I do! I have a client who is a friend and a motorcycle enthusiast. If you can scan the directions and email them to me I can take them to him and get a translation.

im not sure. Actually, after looking @ the bolts, washers and 2 spacers they provided, I was able to fit it on my bike. Wasn't that many so it was pretty easy.

I will be ordering a set of mirrors soon. Really quick service guyz, highly recommended. Got the part in about 3 weeks from Japan,

I won't know the final price until it's on my Visa but I will let you know. When Canadapost arrived, it cost only $16.76 for customs or whatever. According to the website, it says shipping to be around $70 CAN I think so we shall see, .

Amazing, 12 days after placing an order, the box arrived today a little over packed, but that beats damage. Very nice quality, which makes the $$ a little easier to swallow.

I had recieved a confirmation, and it will be interesting to see if their currency converter was correct when it hits my CC.
