Newbie question
New to the site, been lingering in the shadows for a bit. I own a 1997 VTR (Firestorm) and I am in the process of adding some minor cosmetic mods to the bike. I had two questions.
1) Has anyone ordered from http://www.madmattsmotorcycles.com/ before? I am looking at purchasing a belly pan from them. (Or if anyone knows of a North American Distributer of Skidmarx belly pans). 2) From my understanding, the Superhawk remained pretty much unchanged throughout its run. I like the looks of the mototeck undertail, but it is listed as a 1998-2004. Does that mean it will not fit the 1997 without a large amount of modification? Appreciate any input. :D |
The VTR was not sold in the USA till 98, this is why it is listed as those years. There are no differences between your 97 and the 98-2000 years. (in 2001 they changed a bit, but even then the undertail would be the same.).
