Naked Riders Sound Off

I've been thinking about taking the old girl's clothes off. I've tried searching the forum to filter out which mods worked and which didn't. So what I'm looking for is those who've gone with the naked/fighter look to let me know the following:
What type of headlight & blinkers worked best for you
Mounting for headlight & blinkers, stock or fabricated
Concealing the wiring
Any ideas for a bikini fairing to protect instrument cluster

I want to keep the radiators where they are (oh boy, here it comes) and keep as many of the mods as possible easily reversed.

+1 on keeping the side mounted radiators. Not many motorcycles have these, it is what makes us different.

Just checked Ebay for possible light configurations and it looks like buying new aftermarket stuff with brackets that fit the tubes and fly screen will cost in the neighborhood of $300.

Kinda like the way the side mounted rads look. I think it gives the bike a unique look. I have seen some with a front mounted rad and it looked great, but I will not change mine. As far as the blinkers I just mounted some dinky winks on either side of the headlight.( not pictured, added after.) The mirrors look like ****, came like that and I dont want to change because they actually work. Like my neckid bitch...

I bought a set of twin head lights on eBay, from a guy in Florida. He's still selling, but prices have goe up quite a bit.

I mounted them with a JCWHITNEY headlight mount kit. Some bending was required for the wider headlamp arrangement. I mounted mini turns to the holes in the brackets.

I used another set of the headlight mount kits and a piece of acrylic plastic to move the instruments up.

I also have top mount bars with a lot of rise, since I wanted as much weight off my wrists as possible.

Picture in Avatar.

Vega do you have any pics of the front of your bike. I thought about leaving the stock headlight and fairing that sits above headlight (which is what I think you have done) but I want to cut the windscreen down to run flush with the top of the fairing.

Anybody that has gone with aftermarket round (single or double) headlights please post some pics of the front profile of the bike as well as close ups of mounting brackets if possible.

Thank for those who've given me some ideas and taken my side on the radiator issue.

I always liked the look of the dual headlights on a 919 and wondered what it would look like on a SH. Here is a modded 919 from whaccessories.
