Modified Firestorm, help required.

Hi,

I have modified a firestorm that is in the pictures but I am doing another project and would like some feedback as to what folk think might work.

In summary i love the firestorm (superhawk) engine but not the styling. My intention is to do another bike with a single sided swingarm. What do you think would suit the bike fairing wise?

That looks insane. Can't believe no one replied to this. Can't believe there's a Superhawk under there. VERY nice job!

I agree, I missed this completely until that member wanted to install the Ducati tail, this is a work of art!
The exhaust tucked in nicely, pipes setup is awesome, tail and fairings fit remarkably with the original tank.

Wow that is amazing. I daydream of doing a body swap on mine a lot. I always wanted the RC51 plastic or maybe fuse in an sv650 double headlight to mimic a 916. This is so cool, post up more pics! Photobucket covered them.

Hi, thanks for the replies. I'm doing another storm with a single sided swingarm and completely different exhaust set up. I'll keep you posted

VERY nice job with the fairings & exhaust. You're doing the SSSA mod? Need parts?.

I have not started my project yet but in summary it will have;

Triumph T595 SSS with Triumph 1050 rear wheel
MV 675 F3 complete bodywork
Aprilia MILLE R front suspension
Aprilia MILLE R Oz front wheel
Home made down pipes and Akrapovic silencers
Braced frame

I have all the bits apart from the MILLE R suspension. The firestorm is a great project bike because it is so slim so I'm able to fit pretty much any bodywork to it. I would like to somehow modify the radiator setup but i personally don't like the look of it mounted high up front, it look wrong to me.I have seen the under seat set up and that is superb but the MV 675 rear end is small and really slim.
I did wonder if i could do an Aprilia type of thing with a split vertically mounted pair of rads??? Don't know yet.

If anyone has any ideas or guidance of my proposed project let me know. I'll be starting a thread on this soon so it may be of interest. I'm always open to constructive criticism as well so don't be worried about upsetting me with any comments, if you think something is wrong, crap or could be improved please let me know. That way I can personally improve.

Love it, but...primary colors often don't work well next to each other as in this case with Blue and Red....it should be one or the other. Other than that I think a few stickers on the belly pan need to go, as well as the HRC on the front fender. The pipes look good but obviously need to be cleaned up. The gold rims are kickass but the 3 spokes have to be swapped for 5 or 6. Is that an SP1 swingarm?

Two thumbs up

Thanks for the feedback. The swingarm is a standard Firestorm unit but with a Fireblade top section added.
