Are Micron pipes any good?
I am thinking about buying some pipes and I was looking at Micron pipes...I was wondering if they are any good
|
Well they would probably not be a good choice since they've been out of buisness for a few years now. They do have a cool design though. They bolt together, no sorryass rivets to work loose.

if you can get a great deal on them go for it

Great pipes. The Ti ones are pricey.
They were still in business 6 months ago when I purchased a clamp and gasket for my R6. Not to many dealers sell them in the US but they are big in the UK. I hope they didn't go tits up. Try here. http://www.micronexhaust.com/index.htm |
I like mine, good quality. They are assembled with stainless screws instead of rivets so repacking is easier. Mine were loud when I got the bike. The glass pack had burned through. Replaced the glass with stainless wool and welded baffles in so they are much mellower now.
