front radiator mod.
I'm in the (looooong) process of moding my Superhawk in the direction of a large dual sport.
I have the seat and bars done. I have mounted hard luggage I have a modified larger tank in the works, with a plan. (bottom is a wrecked VTR1000 tank, top is a CBR1100XX tank) time will tell if it will work out. I have a radiator from a Honda 1300 Shadow V-twin purchased. It looks to be about the right size. I have searched for hours through the gallery for pics of this modification. To no avail, as they say. The only detail I find is Ka-Ju's under the seat installation. I don't want to go that way here in central Florida. Do any of you have detail pictures of this installation that I missed? Please direct me in the proper direction or send them to me direct. I'm a good copier but a poor inventor. Thanks in advance. Tom |

Adventure Hawk
I have a page up about the bike, which I call the "Adventure Hawk". Some pictures there.
http://mysite.verizon.net/teblum/Adventure%20Hawk.htm Radiator is from a Shadow. I bought it because it's from a liter plus size engine and was the correct size to fit under the seat. (But, now I don't want it under the seat.) Tom |

I used a CBR600F3 radiator, cutoff some rows from top and bottom and sealed it up with epoxy.. it works pretty well.. I even eliminated the coolant reservoir.. just need to fill up coolant more often. |
love the direction
keep the pics coming i sure wish honda would use our motor to make a honda version of the hypermotard. it seems lke at least 1/2 of our forum are guys that just want legitimate xr type power to weight ratios for the road. That only leaves the ergos a little off for us xr men just think how easy that would be to convert or leave alone |
