those protons do the ones for the rc-51 fit the hawk because they dont make them dircet fit for a superhawk. |
not related to turn signals but does anyone have a clear alternatives integrated tail light im looking at buying one just was wondering about fit and finish and if its actualy bright enough to be seen
|
I have one (doesn't have integrated turnsignals). It is brighter than stock because of the LED bulbs.
|
I have the ones in the RC-51 link above. They fit fine, just a little gap between the base and body work...nothing you can notice unless you look for it. My only gripe is that they're not that visible to oncoming traffic. I'm thinking about getting something that sticks out a tad more.

I have the Lockhart Phillips Flushmount III's
http://www.chaparral-racing.com/Chap...A17A15A9C24724 cheap and easy to mount up, plus fairly visible from the front. (you just need a length of aluminum and drill two holes in int to sandwich the signal to your fairing) |
protons it is.... now where is my tax refund...
|
Sweet! I want some too, just can afford it now!

They fit well, look nice, cheap and have running lights. I like those LP ones in post 10, I would have bought those. I ended up getting these from the local bike shop: http://webpages.charter.net/khasting...es_6833311.jpg I got a pvc electrical box cover and used that as a backing plate, screw through the metal surface of the signal and you're done. It covers the hole and almost seals up flush to the curvature of the fairing. http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/ima...t_turn_sig.JPG |
why would you turn left infront of oncoming traffic???

4-way stop, when the guy across from you thinks you're going straight. It happened several times to me, not worth the risk. |
good point
|
These are of the Peugeot 306/307's and are cheap... darned cheap... Good forward visibility because there is a reflector in them directing the light...
Dunno what they will cost in the US... But here it's more expensive to buy a can of coke than what one of them costs... http://tweety.se/gallery/Ombyggnad%2...l/PICT1539.jpg |
