And tough to access for cleaning. Be nice to have some sort of cover to slide over that small section, like maybe stainless braided. All I kmow is it looks rough and I don't want to go through the.hassle of removal just to clean it up every so often

Well I can tell you the headers aren't as smooth as they can be, so if you take the time once to sand out the machining marks/lines and mirror polish it it will be MUCH easier to clean and keep clean in the future. They're stainless just like the stock mufflers but they're not mirror polished like the mufflers are. As far as access it kinda is what it is. You can jet-hot it or polish it but if you need to clean it it is kind of a PITA.

Yes, I was able to get the rest of the pipe looking good thanks to your advice way back when. And I like the color but a tough area to clean

Coat it like I did, then everything wipes off with a wet rag.

Trust me I've looked at it enough times and said "yeah I'm not getting involved in that today ;)"

I would but since I painted the engine side covers and rims silver that'd be way to much. Your pipe looks great dont get me wrong. Plus the stainless color looks awesome to me
