Why would you drill holes on the upper triple clamp? to save weight?
I'd say you probably lost the same amount of weight yourself doing the drilling.

Put down the cheeseburgers. Go for a walk. But for God's sake PUT THE DRILL AWAY.

That is all.

Looks like a pretty cool place to store pencils.

I was thinking about a triangular pattern and some golf tees, and you could play one of those truck stop games on boring straight stretches.

Apparently Honda's CBR900RR "speed holes" made it to the Superhawk...does it help the bike turn faster?

Oh is that what they're for? I thought they were t-handle wrench and/or screwdriver holders; makes lock to lock turns tricky but talk about convenience!

Quite obviously it's to create a shear point for a low side.. handle bars will break at the triple clamp, which will help with..... man i got nothing. Is it a crumple zone?

Dang! You guys (girls) are a tough crowd! Not my bike, but I think it looks cool.

looks like a quality job none the less! those must be helli bars?

Hey that looks pretty nice, whats with the mirros aimed down at the ground.

I never thought about siliconing a watch in the middle, mine is down and to the left of the gauges. Might have to re-located mine.

I do like the drilled foot pegs. The triple tree was a litte much though. What if you placed some Christmas lights in the holes. Maybe give some illumination to the bars, to go along with some fender and tank downwash lights.

Yup, as a matter of fact I'm pretty much "the pot calling the kettle black" here in this thread as I'm probably the only other one who has drilled the upper.

However, mine was to mount handlebars and I think that might have been the origination of this fellows' too. Look at the two on the bottom nearest the steering stem. They are larger than all the others. That's about where I drilled and installed the bar mounts.
