Do RC-51/CBR mirrors fit the hawk?
 

I was looking online and found some RC-51 mirrors for sale, do they fit the hawk without altering anything? I have a 98 with some crappy aftermarkets on it and am looking to upgrade. Anyone?

Well, I made the mistake of ordering the very mirrors that I am asking about. Is it impossible to modify either the bike or the mirrors to fit? What is it that makes them not fit?

imo it is possible but will it be worth the time and effort? i went with the fz1 mirrors. modded the fz1s to fit the hawk mirror base. still see a lil bit o elbow but wow! i can see behind me. appearance wise(mirrors never look good on a bike anyway) they remind me of some kind of insect legs or something

Cancelled the order for the RC-51 mirrors and ebayed a set of R6 mirrors for $52. Can't wait to put them on.
