Corbin Seat - Yeah!

Got my new Corbin seat today.
Went on so easy and looks so cool!
Had to take a nice 50 mile ride and it is like night and day!
No more balls falling asleep and goodbye butt pain!

Best investment I have made so far.
Carry On,
Gunny
Seattle

If the "ugly crap" means the visible gap, then yes... ALL SEATS HAVE THAT! The simple reason is that it isn't part of the seat, it's part of the fairing...

The gap is there to allow the stock seat cowl to fit between the seat and the fairing, and on the side shown here it's even larger, allowing the strap of a helmet to be locked under the seat...

Getting rid of it means either welding (to move the seat lock down) or cutting/shaping the plastics to move them up...

I said gap, not crap. I asked because I need a seat. My OEM one is worse thought. Guess I'll have to accept it.

Hey just picked up a superhawk at the start of winter and the seat seam is ripping. Is the corbin seat as good as advertised? any feedback from someone who has had one for a few months and broken it in would be appreciated thanks.

I scored on on craigslist, had to.make a 2 hour drive each way to get it but for $250 it was worth it! Huge difference over stock, huge.

If you wish to save some coin, you may do like I did. Bring your run down OEM seat to a recoverer (I'm sure this is the wrong term) Once there, these guys have smart foam in stock, and all kinds of leather finish. It will cost you about 100$ more or less, and you can even have him change the shape for more comfort.
It's a cheaper solution then the corbin one. Food for thought...;)
