Which clip-on do you preffer or use?

I've been looking into clip-ons and I've found mixed reviews. Which clip-on do you preffer or use?

Not to thread-jack, but does anyone make clip-ons that are considerably fatter than the stock ones? I have long fingers, and i cant stand the stock ones.

Me too and sometimes my hands cramp-up. I was hoping this thread could help address that too.

You might try some gel grips. I got a box full of them - they're Oury's but they are red and they have a little dye problem. After my hands got big after my wreck in 07 I couldn't stand the dual layer of padding - one my hands and two, the grips. I went to Renthals and now I feel like I got my gels but now the gel is in my hands not on the bars.

PM me your address and I'll send you a pair.

Does anyone know where I can get heli bars at? The company stopped making them for the hawk? Thanks

I used a set of bars from a VFR... Have to look though my notes at home to know what bike that came from.
Low cost, fit well body position wise, but are not a bolt on and go option like Heli's would be.

VFR bars are decent inexpensive way to go

Amazze Nov 19, 2009 06:08 AM

What's involved in installing Vfr bars? Helis are being redesigned when I called to order them and don't have a release date
