Anyone Try these mirrors on ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-99...Q5fAccessories

My mirror is cracked and was looking at getting some new ones. Just wanted to see if anyone has tried these yet for your hawk?

Thanks

no , but look good. I would email and ask how much longer than oem, because if they're not, why bother. I got a cheap pair of R1 carbon look a likes, and they have much better view and are much lighter. Of course they are plastic and can be damaged much easier than oem, but at that price, they can be considered rather expendable.

i got a set of those on my bike now they tend to vibrate a little more than i like and the waythey mount and sit makes them kinda hard to really use the stocks are way better but these are cheap and will do in a pinch

Sorry for the necropost, but I also have a set of ebay mirrors on my hawk, and wanted to chime in.

They look perfectly stock, so this was a plus, but the glass in one mirror is flexed so it distorts the picture a bit. Combined with vibrations, the best information I can get from that mirror when moving is "yep, there is a car-ish object behind me"

Price was right

Mounting is perfect (holes lined up).

But the adjustable posts have to be REALLY tightened down in the mounting brackets, as they move too easily.

This can be a goo thing in a tip over though, the posts rotate rather than staying in place and letting the mirror break.
