'02 Instrument Cluster LED#?
I got a reference to a type 194 LED replacement somewhere here about a year ago, got some put 'em on the shelf, time passed etc.
Finally went to put these in and they are way too big. :( Anyone got a good p/n# and or link to correct item? I don't like the way my instrument lamps dim every time my blinkers blink... (I know annoyed by petty B.S. what can I say?) AND if you can use some superbright white type 194 LEDs for your earlier type gauge cluster PM me as I have 10 I don't need. Free to first requester. They appear to have steering diodes in the base so polarity is no issue. |
194 is for the older cluster you need type 74 for the newer style with digital section.
https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ighting-33868/ But be aware.. the bulb shines through a red plastic gauge front.. I found the aftermarket lights did little to nothing in aiding visibility.. Unlike the GREAT advantage they had in my 1998 cluster. Adding a top mounted light was how I addressed the problem.. see thread linked |
