Is that a Nesba "I" sticker I see on the headlight?

Old Yeller Jun 4, 2010 12:40 PM

Yes, but obviously they need to take it back, huh. LOL

Tweety Jun 4, 2010 02:37 PM

Since I'm not US based... What does the "I" mean? Intermediate?

I'm nominating our most resent addition, how it looked when we picked it up. Well cared for 1999 SH, should win VTRoM for June. The seat and pipes were included too, they are in my car. Please vote for us.

Owner - residentg's brother
Year - 1999
Color - black
Mods - Ohlins shock which is worth more than what I paid for the entire bike. Also many weight saving and cosmetic mods.

If we do not win in June, we will be back in 2 months (maybe 3).

That chopped front fairing looks better than I'd have expected. Nicely done.

This is a highly modified vtr, I scrapped the engine and frame for something heavier. Steel after all is more fun. I scrapped the tank and the fairing... actually it is a shorter list to tell you what I didn't scrap, which was the windshield, I did chop it though and placed it in front of the rear wheel. Is that still enough left over...?

luis saleiro Jul 1, 2010 10:59 PM

Yes, congratulations mdbuehler.
Great bike you got there, one of the best equiped SH i´ve seen.

mdbuehler Jul 2, 2010 09:26 AM

Thanks!! Owe it all to the forum though, I'd never figured out even half those mods if somebody here hadn't done it and documented it first. There are a lot of really good bikes, riders and wrench turners in here!

Still sweeping the orange paint dust out of the garage, next time I'll build a booth outdoors :) Thanks again! :) :)
