Cheers guys for the comments,
Some of the older members might know of the bikes history, was a faired custom job with bits from mario narvo. Was originally owned by a guy named Mono, who dumped it,then sold it to my mate who transformed it into a fighter. I picked it up 2yrs ago ,but it needed some TLC. F/end is off a 01 900ss ducati, has a JMC s/arm, HP shock,Gillies rear sets. All i did was polish frame /Rad,outer rims.Painted the centres black ,give a satin paint job and h/light mask. ust wanted to give it a freshen up,its no show bike, the front indicators are just above the btm triples ,their wrap around LED's When i first picked it up Attachment 21783 As it is now Attachment 21784 Attachment 21785 Attachment 21786 Attachment 21787 |
Hey Erno,
That looks grouse mate! love the way you have freshened her up! As you would be well aware I like the polished look and the new headlight is a winner. Would a small custom screen be out of place? |
Its amazing what a little paint and a little polish can do eh?
love the headlight but does it give enough light down road? |
little polish? Holy cow, all those cast areas sanded and polished must have been a lot of work.
" JMC s/arm" What swing arm is that? |
A showpiece. Amazing. :D
Can't imagine the time polishing all that! |
Thanks guys appreciate the feedback.
Ken .dont wont to place a screen on ,want it to give it a mean look. Cheated on the polish had a guy do it for me ie frame and wheels. Hangfly Swingarm is a custom job from the UK...Swingarm | Easyrider Imports & Distributors Scottie, light is just as bright as the superhawk,so its shit..lol Plus i dont do night riding,if i can help it Total cost of upgrade is $1300,not bad. Also have a complete rear subframe and plastic's off a 1098 duc But thats later on,just want to ride it now, And how fun it is to ride |
Very nice and mean looking!
Cheers mate |
Unrelated, but sense we have a few Aussie's here I would like to share some great Aussie music, here is a band from Melbourne that I bet no one heard over here in the states:
Again sorry for the hijacking, just some nostalgia, I new personally Stuart Cranney from Sydney triple M radio station and spent some time at the station back in the 90's, he was introducing and promoting lots of new rock bands that otherwise would never get anywhere. |
Erno, Did you get that swingarm made for you? or they had in stock?
