A Picture finally!
4 Attachment(s)
Been on the forum for a little while and I've yet to post any pictures of my gal because I've never had that great of a camera and I just got a new phone so I figured I'd post up a few with my friends Buell 1125CR. (IN case anyone was wondering what he got a while back).
Attachment 25877 Attachment 25878 Attachment 25879 Attachment 25880 The Last pic. is probably my favorite, but that's most likely because of my bias towards the SH =) That Buell though, flat out through and through would have eaten the SH anywhere under most any conditions  I got lucky because it was his first ride on it so he was playing it careful until he knows the limits of the bike. https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...%22%3E%3C/a%3E |

 I had to give the pads some seating time before I took it for a ride and I usually only take pictures while on breaks. so on a side note......... HOLY SH*& THOSE CALIPERS ARE AMAZING.... so thank you Micky =) |
they don't compare to the way that 1125 can stop though. I rode one of those and except for the cost difference, it runs circles around our bikes. There's a lot of variables that makes our bikes a good choice though. :)

Another is that it wont break down like a Harley. Three, parts are cheap...because they arent made by Harley. |

One reason is that the Hawk wasn't made by Harley.

rotax, but who's counting. When you ride a bike that was made over an 8 year period (for the states), availability of parts both new and used makes a big difference. I will like to see how Harley treats that bike 5 years from now. I bet getting parts will be like milking a cat.

Not to rain on your parade, but the 1125's are about as un-Harley as Hondas. Plus, Buell parts are dirt cheap.
The only thing Harley about this particular 1125 was the dealer that he bought it from and the free t-shirt he got with it! And he was able to get a free 5 year service warranty! I've yet to ride it but we both got quite the stares, the combo of the engine notes was absurd, the more mechanical rotax and the almost whistle grunt of the SH (+being the same RPM in almost all gears) made an ungodly racket that was like an orgasm for your ears. Build quality is great except for the controls, they look like 80's microwave controls, but with a std. 22mm bar he can put just about anything on them. All in all a great ride day but now my legs are killing me from throwing a bike that's 100lb heavier to keep pace =D Keep the rubber side down guys! |
Really beautiful bike!
Best to you and yours, Gunny Seattle |
