Hello everybody,

let me introduce myself to you. I'm Mark, live overseas (netherlands, Europe) and do not own a Superhawk yet. I do own a custom Honda Hawk GT650. I have a firestorm in the garage from a family-member wich i used during the hawk 650 rebuild and i love the engine on this machine. Since putting one in a hawk 650 frame is hardly do-able.....i smell another project.

I will get myself a firestorm soon and start rebuilding it. One of the first things is swapping the rear end to single sided. Would like two single swingarm bikes...

Other ideas:

Front forks
600rr fairings
Nice paintjob ( i work @ a car bodyshop ;))

If there is anybody who can provide me parts for the rear end swap (mounting plate and dogbone) it would be great. Did find 2 topics with a how to, but too bad some photo's are missing.

Here is my hawk gt.

Specs:

1988
Firestorm front end
Magnesium wheel
VFR 750 rear end and wheel

Solo race seat
Mikuni vacuum fuel pump
Custom high mount bsm muffler
Clip-ons
Digital VDO Speedo ( still analog displayed)
Removed all unneccesary cables and lines
Rised tail

etc etc etc...

Repainted
