Welcome from another owner of a rare '05 with the best color, Stealth Gray. I've got over 38,000 on mine.

What's your VIN?...the last digits on mine are 00028. Honda didn't send many '05s to the US, and dealers had a hard time moving them. Everybody wanted CBRs.

Welcome. I have an '05 too. I also have one of those metal fender eliminator / plate holders, real work of art if anyone would like to buy it.

Read through the forum, a few mods and your bike will fly (and stop).

I thought that you were a proud owner of a yellow, nothing wrong with that. Even cooler now knowing you have a gunmetal grey as I call it.
Where do I see a pic of your bike surfer?

Gen-4 VFR (Interceptor) bars are a nice bolt on replacement. I do not recall the starting year, but the last year was 1997. They bolt right on. You need to ad some metal to the steering stops - simple enough with JB Weld. Your bar end weights will need to be modified as well, a dremel and drill press witll do that.

PM me if you end up doing this and I will post more info.

The official color name is Titanium Metallic, and I'm technically challenged, which prevents me from posting pics. But you'd only see a crashed bike right now, since I was rear ended at a red light on 3/21/10. It should be ready after repairs soon, with Yoshimura titanium slip-ons. Both stock mufflers were trashed...not how I would recommend getting aftermarket exhaust.
