That is one reason I don't ride there during the weekend. The other reason is why they're there in the first place.

Nice shot though.

Nice photo lowell!

I am up in the same hills ever few weekends. I agree with Gregw though about avoiding the snake as much as possible... Plenty of other fun roads with less crowds and less CHP.

Although... It's hard to resist at least passing through for a photo or two! :)

lowell 08-11-2010 08:06 PM

Late int he day the crowds thin to have fun. Did the snake for the photo. Latigo is the raod to go practice on.

AngryOlaf 08-12-2010 08:14 AM

We usually ride Stunt/Piuma and Mullholland/Decker. Occasionally Topanga/Old Topanga get thrown in the mix as well.

I haven't been on Latigo in a while... and we really should mix up our routine a bit more!

Gregw 08-12-2010 08:15 AM

Latigo is fun, though there was a lot of dirt and gravel on it the last time I was there. I posted a google earth photo of it a while back.

I have a friend that does this same thing so he has better vision during dusk. He takes the shades off and the yellow screen highlights the shadows. Handy in deer country or steer country.

I'm up there pretty often, but frequently on my cruiser instead of my Hawk
