Sorry to hear of your crash. I did something similar to my VFR800 on an otherwise dry country road, what I thought might be water on the road turned out to be oil, and there was no way to stay upright on that.


This was the view from where I ended up

Ouch! Just as it was looking good and sorted. As Tony Mons on VTR1000.org would say, "Don't look it as crash damage - look at it as an opportunity to make upgrades!"

Best drain old oil and check it and filter for ingested debris - and think about Carbonadi engine covers for protection. CARBONADI - Ihr Spezialist in der Herstellung von Carbon-Schutzdeckel für Motorteile - Motorcycle Protection System (and on ebay)

That is usually my vision of things, but in this case, i was just at the moment when my upgrades were finished, and i just don't see wich upgrades i can still do after 1 year of work on this bike (excepted crash pads and engine covers protections of course ! Lol)
