greetings from NYC!
squid member here...
I just got my 98 S'Hawk (2wks ago) no big mods yet. I got her with 6500 original miles and a D&D exhaust (probably slip-ons). I recently did a tail-chop. I am in desperate need of a front wheel, perhaps a F3 or VFR (both seem to be the easiest to fit). these NYC streets are not kind. <table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/wUdats1Du50zNQ6046Vs3lV_nIDTHsmIGlNuYsL7YiY?feat=e mbedwebsite"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_WsO4YrKJvG8/Tcgza-bW3aI/AAAAAAAAAYM/WPfbMsC5Tw0/s144/IMG_0231.jpg" height="108" width="144" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:11px; text-align:right">From <a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/117612859607011909479/Superhawk?authkey=Gv1sRgCN6Xg7alwonDSg&feat=embedw ebsite">superhawk</a></td></tr></table> https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...eat=directlink |
You could go to a stock wheel too.

i guess i'm gonna have to... i do like the look of the 6-spoke rims.

I think vfr 750 front wheel is direct bolt on...

I have a stock front wheel I was about to post for sale if you're interested. In fact, I have a complete front end left over from my front end swap (forks, triples, rotors, calipers, master cylinder, front fender).
The wheel is completely straight, no leaking at all, fully functional, but is not perfect cosmetically (some paint peeling in a couple spots and either tire iron damage or road rash at the rim from previous owner, not sure which one). It has red pin striping around the rim also. PM me if interested. I'll have to figure out the price because I'm not sure what it's worth, but I'm not trying to make a fortune off of it. I can send pictures and I could have it ready to ship quickly. |
