Re: Custom Superhwak........ SuperDUC
That bike is NIIIICE ! I like the custom subframe and sharkskinz paint. And are those painted blue radiator grilles ?! :P
|
Re: Custom Superhwak........ SuperDUC
Actually the screens were added inside the fairings apart from the grills and they were painted with the body.

Sweet bike !!!

Re: Custom Superhwak........ SuperDUC
I'm usually not a fan of wild paint jobs but this one is tastefully done. I especially like the 3D effect of the lip edges. Really effective. Makes me wish I hadn't just sold my sharkskinz lower. :( Not that I could afford it but what does a quality paint job like that cost out of the left coast?
I hope your client has plans to upgrade the suspenders in the future; make it perform as great as it looks! 8) |
Re: Custom Superhwak........ SuperDUC
Superbling,
Paint job was $1600. Candy blue with silver strip & airbrush shadow as well has yellow hand pinstripe. The next thing we will do is the complete front end and rear suspension. Mike CTSmoto www.ctsmoto.com |
PLEASE include some closeups when you post the webpage!
So what direction is he going with the front/rear? |
Re: Custom Superhwak........ SuperDUC
He has 2 options he is looking at. First I am a Traxxion dealer so I can rebuild his existing front end. New springs, racetech damper emulator etc... or option 2 would be a CBR954 complete front end rebuilt of course.
With a Scotts damper on the triple. Probably a Revalved Penskie or Elka in the rear. Possibly a hyperpro. Mike CTSmoto |

Re: Custom Superhwak........ SuperDUC
WOW :!:
The before/after pics really tell the story. That drop shadow makes the pinstripe literally jump off my monitor.  |
Re: Custom Superhwak........ SuperDUC
Your bike looks great. Did you make the diamond plate undertail?
The warning stickers on the swingarm need to go. |
Re: Custom Superhwak........ SuperDUC
Yes, all of the fabrication I did in house. The Diamond plate is fairly easy to work with. From pattern to installation took about an hour.

Re: Custom Superhwak........ SuperDUC
The mirrors are from a 2005 Ducati 999. They have the integrated signals in them.

Re: Custom Superhwak........ SuperDUC
G'day Mike.
Where did you get the anodised frame plugs for the footpeg assembly from? I am after something like this but have not seen any before. Cheers, Shayne |
Re: Custom Superhwak........ SuperDUC
They are the original foot peg plugs painted blue.
