Bought Conti Motion's today - Old Tire Fun:)

Getting them mounted tomorrow, so messed with the bike a bit, and Tried out my "potato" lift that I used for my last bike, low and behold, my 3 dollar lift works on this Bike too:):):)

Yes - before you ask my neighbors love me;-) And I removed the EGR on the Stang and started redoing the front end to prep for the 347 today as well. Tightened up the chain and cleaned and lubed the hell out of it as well. Not as long of a burnout as I wanted, but - it was in my driveway LOL.

For the record, the tires on the bike were flat spotted badly, and the front had dry rot as well as bad cupping - so the tires were a necessary evil, the Conti Motions I got for "bike week" sale at the local Honda dealership for 165 After Tax and a 30 dollar mount and balanc special, so I paid 195 for brand new tires:)

Just for your riding information, the Conti-Motion is more touring than sport. Keep that in mind during hard riding.

Thanks, i will take the bike to the Track, but 98% of my riding will be commuting with alot of Straight riding as Florida is flat, and lacks in curves. I did alot of shopping around, and in the past on bikes I was replacing every 3-4k miles - Pirelli's, Bridgestones, Pilot Powers etc, just got tired of that game you know.

I have no intention of getting serious on track days wiht these, if I get serious, and do the pro license down here, I will get anotehr set of rims, one set with better brakes ~wave rotors and probably full on slicks for it then.

But I figure these will be fine for a few 12-15 lap sessions at Jennings, if not, will be getting full leathers and sliders before then:)

Thanks for the heads up though, i was looking for this type of tire though:)

I told her pics:). First go round was no problem, put the brake on reved to around 4500 and came off, did the burn for a bit and stopped, checked to see if neighbors noticed, nothing so tried again, let's just say that tire was a lot stickier LoL:evillaugh:
