hey guys i picked up another bike today, its an 03 zx6rr in kawi green, lovin it so far... i got a KILLER deal clear title 22k on the clock for $1200 bucks, the upper fairing has some cracks and needs a new windshield but has aftermarket exhaust (FMF), blinkers, frame sliders and pegs, MAYBE a rear hugger too im not sure if they came stock or not. im not sure what im going to do with it yet, flip it or keep it...it sounds pretty good for an I4 with the FMF pipe and is EFI which KICKS ASS
ill get pics up when i get some decent ones Attachment 25076 Attachment 25077 Attachment 25078 Attachment 25079 |

I really like those bikes. Would make a good track tool.

Just switched to a Kawi. I would say that right behind honda they make the most reliable bikes :)

i just went and played with it a bit, no riding it thought, snow on the ground. the rear tire was flat when i got it but i put air in it and no leaks, suspension is SOLID i really love the front end of these bikes, the upper fairing has cracks but if i put a windshield on i could ride it as is. i let her warm up a bit and sat on it and revved her up a little and with that FMF titanium pipe it really roars, i wonder how i could tell if its a full system or not. any ideas?

Smokin' deal. The RR is 599cc, adjustable swingarm pivot, other trick stuff on that bike. The 636 is more of a streetable zx6r; that was made to meet the displacement limits for 600cc classes. Most race organizations accept the 636 now anyways. Nice find for sure. |

touche, never even thought of that, the reason i ask is it is blueing(sp?) pretty well near the mid-pipe, i havent done much investigation on the bike but the first owner took good care of it, stainless lines, subtle mods, good tires, relatively low miles, the PO however was about 5' 3" and the bike was too big... mix that with novice rider and it was dropped on both sides, luckily frame sliders saved everything but the upper nose fairing. |
