Is that an 82 CB750? I owned an 82 CB900 Custom I bought new in my younger days. My wife and I rode it from NH to Niagra Falls. Was just surfing what people have posted and spotted your pictures.

That is one hell of a stogey that you have there! That is a good looking 750, as well. I really enjoy fabrication and custom work as well as restoration. I wish that the guys that were into on the forum lived closer. I know that I would make the trip. I had a student bring in his jeep yesterday that had the lower mounts on the axle for the four links bust off (rusty). We went through the fabrication process (5.5 hrs). The whole time he was sick to his stomach. It worked great afterward and he was totally surprised(they were also much stronger than the factory fittings). I wish that more young men got to experience that type of work, and I am glad that your son has had that chance. Those individuals are the real "creators" when it comes to new ideas and technologies.
