I have been on bikes since I could walk and I have rode may others with on close friend owning several ducs for a 900ss, a 999 and a 998 and I still come back to this one for its ease of use and fun factor. Don't get me wrong... I love my buddies 998 but 6' 2" me riding on the street would rather have my Hawk. Wished the styling was more updated but mine still gets plenty of looks and comments even today. This bike still gets a lot of respect even with its age! LOL Hope I answered your questions. Feel free to ask more! :-)

I have heard a lot of other exhaust and I think I lucked up with 2 of the best sounding. The lower fairing is a Sharkskinz that I had painted to match along with my rear tire hugger. I also had a friend in the decal business make up the Honda VTR decals I place on the lower and front by the headlight. I have had a few items chromed like the bar ends and passenger pegs and I have found a few more parts on ebay like the lower sets and the triple tree cover I will have plated too. Don't want to chrome out the bike but I like the chrome accents. I also polished the edges of the wheels which have held up really well for the past 10 years. I have a few other mods like the smoked windshield and the TBR smog block off plates and I have rejeted the carbs too. This bike has been so loyal to me and is such a riot to ride.

Hey...would love to share what I have done with my Hawk. The Seat and is a Corbin that I had recovered by Sergeants Seat Covers here in Jacksonville Florida. The Corbin leather did not hold up on top of every time it rained I would end up with a wet butt for the rest of the day. The Corbin seat still is very comfortable.....a must have over the stock seat. Better position and much easier on the butt. The rear seat cowl and tail section is stock although I was able to find a set of the European V2 decals from a friend that was in the navy and new a guy in the British navy. Why they will not let you purchase them here...I just don't know! LOL Exhaust is the Devil slip on carbon Fiber high mount. I like them because I was able to keep my passenger pegs because I do carry a rider from time to time. I had a set of Two Brothers on it before and honestly......nothing sounds better than the Two Bros but the Devils are pretty close.
