I believe teh unit you are looking for is the Cheetah by National Cycle. You are correct in saying that it is ugly, make that butt ugly. I picked one up for my bike (very cheap) and installed it. I then stood back and though Yikes!!! I then proceeded to chop about 3" from it and now it look ok although at my height (5'9") I will likely invest in a double bubble at some point.

Good luck

Hi!

i'm 5.4" and I've a Pyramid double bubble windscreen and I'm very satisfied. Even if it was very expensive 150$ Cdn, I think it worth any penny... for me! But as you are very more tall than me, maybe it could be different for you!! Before the double screen, when I was riding at travel speed ( 140Km/h) not too "staight" and not too "tucked" position, the wind was coming directly on my chest and was making my helmet pull my head back, not very comfortable! Now with the double bubble, the wind come just on the top of my helmet, this is very more comfortable, even that it's very rare now that I'm inclining myself on the tank to save wind, at least for speed under 200Km/h!

Last month, I've ordered a double bubble for my girlfriend CBR600 F4 on ebay Pit-teck store ( http://stores.ebay.com/PIT-TECK_W0QQ...Q3amesstQQtZkm, ) and I must say that I was very impress by its quality for the price!

Of course the Pyramid look more strong, is more thick and have a more dark smoke teint, but for the price I think the Pit-teck is a very good compromise. As I remember, they offer one also for the VTR and they also have a iridium one that look awesome ( at least on picture )

There's also some EuroSpeed screen and/or Sport touring screen from PUIG, lockhart Philips and Zero gravity that are more "high" than a double bubble, look at this web site they offer a wide variety of windscreen http://www.exoticsportbike.com/windscreens.htm

Hope you will find something for you, stock windscreen really suck!!

Cheers
