If you cut a hole in them they will.

Hotbrakes 01-19-2009 01:51 PM

I usually use a knife... If you find another tool more suited to your style feel free to use it...

I have used an x-acto type razor knife to cut holes in grips. If you take your time it won't be noticeable, especially once the bar ends are in place.
Otherwise, buy a new pair with holes already in them. They aren't a high ticket item.:)

Trace the hole with the bar end, Clamp it out with a sharp narrow knife.

the bar end will cover the hole, so it doesn't matter what it looks like. Just cut an X and push the ends in.

i have those grips. the road version that i got already had the holes. no worries. btw, they are nice grips.

i stand the grip up on a piece of wood and stick a piece of 7/8 metal tube in the grip then hit the tube with a hammer.it will cut a neat round hole.the end off an old handle bar works also.

Awesome so at least i know they are good grips, thanks for the feedback guys i appreciate it ill def cut it as soon as it comes, does it really matter what kind of glue to use when installing them? obviously not regular glue but any recomandations?

Use some hairspray, it lets them slide on nice and dries really sticky to hold them in place. That's what my local shop told me to do and it worked great!

Hairspray works a treat
